1958 MOD Atomic age SuperMercato SES Italian supermarket advertising Poster from Torino, Itay.
This advertising Poster is wonderfully “cute’ and wonderfully Italian!. I have been unable to find out anything regarding this store. I assume it no longer exists if it was a chain of stores. The copy reads “il piacere della spesa” (the pleasure of shopping). Colours are vibrant the White ground is White. Beautiful after 62 years!
Artist signature in bright Blue is R. Paltrinieri of which I have found no Biographical or work history. Poster has Italian Tax/duty Stamps (Francobolli) still attached and dated May (Maggio) 1958 RARE!
